How Many Appointments Are Required for a Mini Dental Implant?
The reduced treatment timeline is a significant advantage to mini dental implants compared to conventional alternatives. In the video below, Dr. David P. Ney discusses his treatment philosophy as he explains what you can expect from the mini dental implant process.
Now, everybody’s a little bit different as to how many. We don’t rush things here. So our goal is not to tell you we’re going to have things finished up in 24 hours. That’s not what I want to do. What we are our goal here is, first of all, to get the right treatment plan for everybody. Everybody’s a little bit different.
Once we get the right treatment plan, we start to move ahead and we have steps in which we actually do that. You will have a lot of power in what happens once we get to things like try-ins, where we have a full denture try-in, shades, those type of things. But the process itself, placing the implant I don’t really like to say time wise, everybody’s a little different because some people have a little more kind of anxiety in the chair to begin with.
But once the process of actually placing the implant using the pilot drill is no less than five minutes. And so again, if you want to find out what that process is all about, please give us a call. Come on in. Let’s take a CT and let’s get you in the chair.
